Data Storage & Preferences

Your starred rivers and activity profile preferences are stored locally in your browser (LocalStorage). No personal identifiable information is collected, sold, or transmitted to third-party databases.

Geolocation

When using the "Find Rivers Near Me" feature, your coordinates are processed strictly in client-side memory to calculate distance from USGS river coordinates. Your GPS coordinates are never transmitted or logged.
